Born in Belleville, Ont., Will moved to the mountains of Whistler, B.C., at the age of 10 and instantly fell in love with the place. His youth was spent hiking with his mother, back-country skiing and mountain biking with his dad. “I was constantly cold and bonked trying to keep up with the men,” Will says. “I was a skinny little kid, but it was great!” Will switched to road after racing the MTB World Championships at 21. He loves the tactical aspect of road racing, the constant travel, exposure to new cultures, getting lost on six-hour solo rides in the middle of nowhere, and sampling tasty food from all over the world.
