Simon grew up on the south shore of Montreal, in Longueuil. His parents “made’ him do many different sports – mostly to tire him out so he would be quiet and docile at home! His parents encouraged him to start cycling 10 years ago and Simon became passionate for the sport right away. Simon rode a season abroad for the Lotto-Domo development team in Belgium before returning to ride for SpiderTech in 2010.
