Bruno is from Bas St-Laurent Quebec, was in born Matane, grew up in Rimouski, studied kinesiology at the University of Sherbrooke and currently lives in Quebec City. He is the team’s urban-hipster — he was a skateborder and snowboarder as a kid. However, he keeps true to his rural roots by hunting and fishing in the off-season, he loves his guns and camouflage gear. Bruno turned pro in 2005 with Jittery Joe’s pro cycling team. Bruno’s career was nearly derailed in a racing crash in 2007 at the US Open in Richmond Va. He spent most of 2007-2008 recovering and has returned to be one of Canada’s most consistent National Championship finishers – he has eight top-10 finishes in championship events, including two road medals.
