Established in fall 2007, Cycle Sport Management Inc. is the company that owns and manages Team SpiderTech – C10, Canada’s first Division 2 professional cycling team. Cycling is our sport, marketing is our business. Our ability to negotiate, manage and activate sponsorships creates a unique brand experience for our partners, which influence consumer-buying behaviors and build long-term loyalty.

Steve Bauer and his partner Josée Larocque shared a vision and goal to develop Canadian cyclists to their maximum athletic potential within a Canadian based professional team. CSMI has grown the team franchise from an upstart to one of the most exciting, dynamic and unique new sponsorship properties in Division 2 international pro cycling. The long term goal for the team is to elevate the team to cycling’s top echelons – the UCI World Tour and race in the Tour de France – providing our partners with unparalleled activation opportunities in the world’s largest, most watched annually recurring sporting event.

Steve Bauer is Canada’s most decorated and accomplished professional cyclist. He is an Olympic and World Championship medalist. At the Tour de France his track record is un-rivaled in Canadian cycling, he has won stages, worn the coveted leader’s yellow jersey 14 times and his career best finish was 4th in 1988. For Bauer, leading a team to the Tour de France seems only natural.
