Strong Andalucia prologue for Ryan Roth

(France- February 19, 2012) — On a warm, sunny day in Spain, Team SpiderTech rider Ryan Roth of Cambridge, ON posted the 16th fastest time of the opening prologue at the Vuelta a Andalucia.

Roth was thrilled with the handling of the team’s newly redesigned Argon 18 time trial bikes on the short, 6-km course.

Team director Kevin Field echoed Roth’s impressions of the bike: “The new argon18 E-118 is very, very fast. Our guys just need a bit more time to work with the bike and tune their TT positions and they will be going much better.”

The first stage of the Vuelta à Andalucia begins tomorrow, a 197.9-kilometre ride between Zahara de los Atunes and Benalmadena.
