The first race back from the team’s july break will be the Sparkassen Giro near Bochum Germany. Last year Guillaume Boivin finished an impressive second in this race behind Dutch champion Niki Tepstra and ahead of Andre Greipel!
Bochum is in Germany’s Ruhr valley. The urban course features twists and turns and a few challenging hills. Despite the technical nature of the course it has traditionally been a sprinters race.
