Team Race Storms Toronto

Team RACE Pro had a narrow loss to Canada’s other top professional team Symmetrics .  The  St. Lawrence Market Criterium returned to downtown Toronto and crowds were estimated at more than 8000 as Team RACE Pro battled Symmetrics for the win. TRP’s Dustin MacBurnie road an aggressive race, breaking away with Symmetric’s Andrew Pinfold.  MacBurnie and Pinfold lapped the field while their respective team mates controlled attacks from the main bunch behind.

Later in the race TRP riders Mark Walters and Buck Miller were active in moves with Symmetrics tough veteran and three time Olympian Eric Wohlberg.  As the race came into its final quarter McBurnie and Pinfold lapped the remainder of the main field.

In the end Pinfold took the final sprint from MacBurnie.  Eric Wohlberg escaped the field to come in for third.
